The bar is the brainchild of the two man team behind El Nido,Beijing's first and oldest dedicated craft beer pub. The one brewery tapresidency concept at Zhujing Ban - The Brewing Consulate is a first in bothBeijing and China. What is a tap residency? The Brewing Consulate is a unique craft beer bar concept.For a set residency period the bar is fully dedicated to and solely stocks theofferings of one designated brewery. The bars ten taps will stock and rotate beers from theappointed brewery for the duration of that residency period. Tap heads, beerglasses, beer mats, brewery merchandise and apparel, interior decor, logos andlightboxes, beer listings and informative reading material will all be designedand installed each time a new brewery takes residency. In addition to having exclusive rights to stock aselection of that brewery's best beers, the brewery will also showcase a numberof limited edition, special edition or special release beers that areunavailable elsewhere. So basically when you walk through the door you will betransported into the dedicated bar of our current guest brewery. You can learnabout their beers, their story, and for those of you already familiar with thebrewery, you can have a chance to try out unreleased or special released brews.
